Dental Filling
A dental filling is a treatment used to restore a tooth damaged by decay back to its normal shape and function. Your dentist will first remove the decayed part of the tooth, clean the affected area, and then fill the space with a tooth-colored material. This helps prevent further decay and keeps your tooth strong and healthy.

Treatment Planning
For cavities that haven’t reached the nerves
The doctor will clean the decayed area (caries) in the affected tooth using a dental bur. Local anesthesia will be given if needed
Once the area is clean, the tooth will be prepared for filling using a composite material. The composite will be hardened with a curing light, followed by polishing to complete the treatment
